The article entitled “The Role of Psychological Flexibility, Mindfulness, Valuing, and Cognitive Defusion in the Prediction of Dark Future among University Students,” derived from the master’s thesis of Elif Seran Doğan, a graduate of our Guidance and Psychological Counseling Master’s Program, and prepared under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. F. Zehra Ünlü Kaynakcı, a faculty member of our Department, was published in the Bartın University Journal of Faculty of Education.
The study examined the role of psychological flexibility, mindfulness, valuing, and cognitive defusion in predicting university students’ negative expectations about the future. The research provides findings that contribute to a better understanding of university students’ perceptions of the future and the psychological processes associated with these perceptions.
