Master of Arts Program in Psychological Counseling and Guidance

The mission of the Turkish Education Association, founded in 1928, has been to lead and support the education system in our country. Beyond instruction and administration, student personality services are emphasized within the education system to facilitate this dual mission and to promote students’ well-being and adaptation. At the core of these services lie psychological counseling and guidance (PDR) services.

In line with the Turkish Education Association’s fundamental mission of leading and supporting the national education system, there has been a growing need to strengthen guidance and psychological counseling services—particularly those implemented in schools and aimed at enhancing students’ well-being and adjustment levels.

The thesis-based program aims to equip students with strong theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and the ability to conduct scientific research. One of the program's key goals is to enable students who seek personal and professional growth to specialize in their chosen area of interest. A student-centered approach is adopted in all courses. Along with innovative core courses, the elective course pool allows students to focus on current topics that align with their individual interests.

The Master's Program in Guidance and Psychological Counseling (with Thesis) at TED University aims to provide high-quality education through its distinguished faculty, comprehensive library resources, and technological services. The program is designed to enable graduates to offer improved services in school settings and contribute to the training of the qualified professionals and academics needed in the field.
